International Coach Federation www.coachfederation.org, defines Coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential”. A professional Coaching relationship exists when the Coaching contract includes an agreement that defines the responsibilities of each party: the coach and the client. As an ICF Coach, my professional behaviour complies with the standards stated in the ICF Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct along with four fundamental values that frame my professional practice: integrity, excellence, collaboration and respect.
The professionalization of Coaching has been structured enough so as to clearly differentiate it from other professional practices such as psychology, consulting, mentoring and facilitation.
Personal Leadership
The practice of personal leadership allows us to expand our capacity of reflection and action in order to achieve our life goals and purposes. In our coaching sessions we examine what the client seeks to develop even if they are unsure of it at the beginning.
In this process, the client discovers his own resources to make use of them. This accompaniment facilitates the consolidation of these changes so that they remain available when the Coaching relationship is over.
